The second volume of the Bartók Complete Critical Edition, featuring the Concerto for Orchestra, one of Bartók’s chefs d’oeuvre, was published at the end of 2017. The book was presented on 14 March 2018 at 5:30 PM at the Bartók Hall of the Institute for Musicology.
The program of the presentation included a panel discussion with Klára Móricz, editor of the volume, as well as with composer and conductor László Tihanyi and László Vikárius, Editor-in-Chief of the Complete Edition, lead by Zoltán Farkas, Director of the Bartók Memorial House. The discussion was followed by Móricz’s lecture on Bartók’s Concerto for Orchestra.
